So I went to Nottingham a couple of weeks ago. More like Nothing-ham. There isn’t much to do there as a tourist outside of Bruce Wayne’s manor which was still a pretty long walk out. Hours of the afternoon were spent at Primark. I like that I finally have people to put in my photos though. Before that it was just a bunch of buildings and roads. I’m also starting to understand the way the British pronunciate things. Like Leicester is Lester because it’s Leice-ster instead of Lei-cester.
A post of mine got 4000 upvotes on Reddit and made the front page. That’s a tick off the old bucket list. More ticks to come over the Summer, I’m assuming. Also, I got my site icon from clip-art. I’m pretty proud of myself for thinking of it. An anchor sort of spells JTJ and it’s somewhat related to travel. Hopefully I’ll find some design friends that can spruce it up but for now it’s good enough for me.

I’ve done nothing this Easter break. I don’t even think I’ve used my camera. I’ve geared up with a new Marumi polarizer, a 28mm wide-angle lens, a waterproof case, spare batteries and a Gorillapod. After some gaffer tape on the Fuji, I’d say it’s ready for some travelling. I also bought a 60L backpack and some Merrell hiking shoes. I read an article saying Uniqlo AIRisms are the most perfect pairs of underwear on the planet. It wasn’t wrong, I’d have posted photos of these miracles but I decided against it. What to do with all my Calvin’s now.
Take some time to remember all the joys that these films have brought over the years.
